• SpoLang’s Young Learner Start REAL-TIME Remote Course is exclusively designed for children 6 through 12 years old.
This dynamic program brings the German or Spanish language to life through engaging themes and authentic, contextual communication. We weave together reading, writing, art projects, original vocabulary-building songs, and creative movie-making to make language acquisition a joyous, natural experience.
Our Young Learner Start 1 real-time remote courses are open to children with foundational phonological awareness and writing skills who are 6 years old on or before August 30th.
• SpoLang’s Adolescent REAL-TIME Remote Course is created for children 12 through 17 years old.
This exciting German Program captures a learner’s attention and imagination with a dynamic language experience that goes far beyond traditional grammar drills. Through engaging themes and real-world communication, the learner naturally absorbs vocabulary and sentence patterns. Our interactive sessions bring the language to life by seamlessly integrating reading, writing, music, and fast-paced vocabulary games, all while empowering the student to dive into independent creative projects like movie-making.

For the Young Learner Start 1, Young Learner Start 2 ,Adolescent 1, +Adult 1 level course, there is no prior knowledge required.
Students interested in higher level courses, who have not learned at SpoLang or took a course longer than 12 months ago will be assessed with a placement test.
- course level may consist of 14 to 28 chapters (depending on Level)
- each chapter has structured topics
- tasks are a combination of work pages, tasks, games, arts, and quizzes
- weekly workload is about 20 to 40 minutes (depending on Level)
